Tips for Kids
Every camper and hiker needs the right supplies. Mom and Dad should buy you a fanny pack with some basics that you would need if you get lost during your next camping or hiking trip.
THINGS TO CARRY WITH YOU
1. Fanny pack - To carry everything in, plus it's easier to carry than a backpack that may get taken off or set down and forgotten.
2. Whistle - To make noise if you get lost so the people searching for you can find you quicker.
3. Garbage Bag - You can use this to stay warm at night and dry if it rains. (parents make a small hole for the head)
4. Bandana - bright color without any printing or patterns.(Red, Orange, Royal Blue, or Lime Green)
5. Water bottle and Snacks

Sometimes helicopters and airplanes might look for you too.
We will use dogs to help find you, they are friendly and won't bite you. When they find you they get very excited and bark A LOT.
None of the bugs or animals will hurt you.
You might hear strange sounds from the animals.
We are coming to find you.
